The 2010 Season     

Be sure to complete the state mandated Concussion Awareness Certification when you register!
Players and families from all organized sports are required to complete this course to participate in the State of Washington.

Division Level Placement:

Players are placed at levels based on the GEJFA Age/Weight Formula found on the GEJFA website.  (www.GEJFA.org)

NOTE: The Age/Weight fromula has changed this year.
The Senior level has been eliminated and all the levels have been expanded to accomodate seniors at the varsitey level. Players expecting to move up may not, based upon this change. Please consult the Age/Weight formula for details.

BIJFA provides:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder pads
  • Game day uniform(s)
  • Pads
  • 1 mouth guard.
    We have a limited supply of practice pants available on a first come, first served basis. 

Player is responsible for:

  • Practice jersey
  • Practice pants
  • Socks
  • Cleats. 
Rib protector and support cup are optional.  Game day jersey and pants may NOT be worn for practice. No equipment distributed until payment requirements met.

Practice: 

Monday thru Friday 5:30-7:30 PM
All football practices are held at Strawberry Hill Park.


Jamboree:

Saturday, August 28th, Lake Washington

First Game: 

Saturday, September 4th. 
Games continue every Saturday until the first or second week of November (post season schedule TBD).  See the GEJFA website for detailed schedule info.


 

The Bainbridge Island Junior Football Association is a member of the Greater Eastside Junior Football Association.  Approximately half of our games will be played at Bainbridge Island Highschool on Bainbridge Island, and half at locations in the Bellevue, Redmond, etc. area.
